I am trying to install fixpac 5.3.3.0 for the AdminCenter on AIX 5.3. When I try to run startInstall.sh as root, I get a "not enough temporary space, use the -is:tempdir flag". So, I used the flag and pointed to a directory that had over 2GB of space. Same error. I have set the -is:log option and it's useless. It is dieing before it does anything. I don't get the "...." as it starts the install process or anything.
When I run startInstall.sh as myself (non-root), it works just fine up to the point where it tells me I need to be root to install products on AIX.
I even went back and tried AdminCenter5320.tar. Same results. I was hoping they had a bug in the 5330 package. No such luck.
Anyone else experienced anything like this before?
