We are doing a system image restore using sysback prior to using TSM to lay down the most current data. After the initial system image restore a "timer/countdown" of 20 minutes appears after the AIX server prompt. It will not go away until connection with the TSM server is established. We need to perform some checks on the server prior to running the TSM restore but this "timer" always appears and affects the entry of commands. I was wondering if there is a way to change this setting (either in TSM or AIX not sure where it is coming from at this point, although I suspect the TSM Client). Any help will be greatly appreciated.
