TDPO on Redhat virtual guest under windows hyper-v

This is a linux (redhat AS 5.4 ) 64bit virtual guest under windows hyper-v:

every time i manually run rman full backup ,it tooks about 1,30 hour then it fails :

ORA-19502: write error on file "22m7ok24_1_1", block number 1050241 (block size=8192)
ORA-27030: skgfwrt: sbtwrite2 returned error
ORA-19511: Error received from media manager layer, error text:
ANS1017E (RC-50) Session rejected: TCP/IP connection failure

I configured the node client with this configuration :

COMMRESTARTDuration 120
COMMRESTARTInterval 30

but still get the same problem .

Also changed the [FONT=&quot]CommTimeOut 1,200 [/FONT][FONT=&quot]On TSM Server [/FONT]but still get same error .

The regular rman backup for the archive logs finishes successfully .

What is the value for IDLETIMEOUT?

Increase them and try again

As this server is a virtual ,so it seems rman take much time to gather the data before backup .

We increased the COMMTIMEOUT value to about 1 hour .

It works .
