TDP. "q ba" works only for root!?

Hi.

I just got a mail from one of our "customers".

server:/root# dsmc -se=NODE-TDP
tsm> q ba /FILESPACE/* -su=y



works fine while


oracle@server:/oracle/folder>dsmc -se=NODE-TDP
tsm> q ba /FILESPACE/* -su=y
ANS1092W No files matching search criteria were found



does NOT


Could not find anything on the web...

Any Ideas appreciated.

Root can see all backups made by a host. If you're not root, you can only see backups made by that user. In this case, /filespace/* would have to be backed up by the user oracle in order to see it within TSM.

how ca i get the information which user made the backup?
my colleague said it would have been the user oracle, which now cant see the backup.!?!? guess there is the mistake
