Hi,
we are using TDP for R/3 to backup our 4.6C SAP Systems working on Oracle 8174/AIX 433.
Before we upgrade our TSM Client and TDP_R3 client software to 5.1.6, TSM gives time/date related Backup IDs for SAP Database and Archive Backups like HVS___9D11040001. But after upgrade to 5.1.6 for clients and upgrade TSM server to 5.1.6.5, Backup IDs become ununderstandable like HVS___9A4WCQMKGD.
The configuration of initHVS.utl file is unchanged and BACKUPIDPREFIX parameter has a value "HVS___".
How can we correct this situation? We want prefix format to show date of backup.
Also how can we handle backup id prefix for tdp_r3 and other backups?
Also I wonder if it is possible to give backup id during a manual backup other than default prefix?
Best Regards
