TDP for Exchange

Hi,

got a little question. I´m using TDP for Exchange 2007. The backup work´s fine. But there´s one thing I don´t understand. I got three databases (2 Mailbox & 1 Public Folder). On the Exchange Server the databases need actually 60GB. But in the TSM Backup Storage they need 180GB.

For Example: The Public folder database got only 500MB. But in the Backup Storage 8GB.

Why?

As Nezih mentionned, check your retention policies. The longer you keep your backup or the more versions you keep, the bigger your storage within TSM will be...

Hi,

that are my settings:

version data exist = 2
version data deleted = 1

But if I look in my Restore window on the TSM client in Exchange, I got the one full backup from November last year followed from INCR. So that mean, that I must manually delete the backups and start a new Full Backup?
