TDP Exchange Error - Backup Failed

I'm setting a schedule backup, scheduled failed to run and the says :

ACN5798E MS Exchange API HRESEBACKUPSETUP() failed with HRESULT: 0xc80001f9

Does anyboody know workaround for this??

The common recommendations are:
- see Windows Event log
- restart Exchange.

Error 0xC80001F9 mean - Backup is already active. I think restart Exchange can solve the problem.

After searching, and almost crazy ... suddenly the customer said that at that time he also run ntbackup ....... such a rocking confession.....

OK, after change the ntbackup scheduled. another error message showed up...

"ANS1315W (RC15) Unexpected retry request. The server found an error while writing the data."

insufficient number of mount points available or you don't have scratch tapes to write data... if a problem occurs in client side, check tsm activity log for what's going on out there...

Try to see Windows event log and TSM activity log.
Do you use simultaneous write function ? If yes disable it and try to backup.

yes I know it... I recommend if you see a error on the client side check the server side... this is the normal behaviour...
