The Storage Management Analyst provides technical analysis and support for the client information technology storage environment. Storage Management develops and implements business continuity practices and provides efficient and reliable storage allocation, along with defining backup, recovery and archival procedures.
Job Description
This individual will provide third-level support for the Enterprise Storage infrastructure.
Skills Required
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certified
Tivoli Storage Manager software - in depth support experience
Storage Area Networks- experience required
Software distribution - proven work experience with script writing
Windows OS Administration - proven work experience
Autopath support experience
Software evaluation experience
New software implementation experience
Reporting experience
Ability to diagnose complex problems without adversely affecting the environment
Adequate skills in using the email package Microsoft Outlook
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to learn and apply technical information
Proven performance in a team environment
Self-Motivated and able to work without close supervision
Ability to multitask in a busy and changing work environment
Interest in building and maintaining strong working relationships with support partners and customer groups.
