Hi all,
In our environment, we take 500 systems into backup with Networker. All of these servers have ofcourse several savesets. In total, it's about 22TB of data a week that is taken into backup.
We currently start with a project to do some restore tests, to see if we can restore from each server if it's needed.
Of course it's not possible to restore all files from all servers each day, so we would like to do some statistical restore tests. And we have some idea's, but I would like to know if any of you have simular tests and you do you do it? How often, how many files, how do you choose which server, which save set, which file you restore each time?
And ofcourse, how do you interpet the results?
