I need some advise with sql backup.
There is an sql cluster which has ~10 instance. The backup runs perfectly. (win serv 2008r2 - sql 2012)
One of these instance is moved to another cluster (srv2019+sql 2017).
I have to set the backup for it and I have already downloaded the needed ba and tdp for db client.
I have to keep, the backup chain for this instance.
I have planned to install the clients and copy the dsm.opt and tdpsql.conf file and set the CAD and scheduler as it was on the old cluster.
Will it broke the chain or will it work as I think? Can the different version of SQL and version of TSM agents cause any problem?
