Solaris local zone TSM instalation

Hi guys!

I need help to install the TSM client 5.4.1 on Solaris local zone, when I try to install I get:


WARNING:
The host 'lbc4-test' is a sparse root non-global zone!
TSM API libraries cannot be linked to the /usr file
system because the /usr file system is read only.
Please contact your global administrator in order
to create links to TSM API libraries as following:
cd /usr/lib
ln -s ../../opt/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin/libApiDS.so /usr/lib
ln -s ../../opt/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin/libxmlutil-5.4.1.0.so /usr/lib
cd /usr/lib/sparcv9
ln -s ../../../opt/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin64/libApiDS64.so /usr/lib/sparcv9

WARNING:

TSM configuration sample files dsm.opt and dsm.sys cannot be linked
to the /usr file system because the /usr file system is read only.
Please be sure to set the TSM environment variables DSM_DIR, DSM_CONFIG
and DSM_LOG to a different path.

Installation of <TIVsmCapi> partially failed.

I ask to system administrator to create the links and he do it! After that I try to install the BA client and get this error:

WARNING:
The <TIVsmCapi> package "IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
Solaris API Client" is a prerequisite package and is
not completely installed.

Installation of <TIVsmCba> was suspended (administration).
No changes were made to the system.


Who can help me?? im very worry about this problem!

hi sgabriel! I read the document... but in my case is more simple... I want to install only the ba client....

the solution was install the TSM client on global zone... after we configure each local zone... thank you everyone!

Is it Possible to Install TSM CLient on Solaris 10 Zone

I have installed sucessfully installed TSM Server 5.4.1 on Solaris 10 zone but while installing Client , I am getting error because /usr/lib is read only.

Can some body help me in this.
