simultaneous reclamation

does running reclaim for onsite and offsite storage pools at the same time could affect/lock etc. ?



in other words running reclamation for primary and secondary pools simultaneously a good idea or could have problems?

I do this all the time. The only problem I ever encounter is when I run out of mount points or when one process is waiting on a volume that the other is using. As reclamation is a low priority task, I just let the two processes fight for the tapes/drives. They'll finish eventually.
