show slots command

Anyone know what the difference is between status=allocated and status=full.

we are using a 3583 LTO library, with 60 slots, and the output of show slots lib01

shows us this

Slot 0, status Allocated, element number 4096, barcode present, barcode value

Slot 1, status Allocated, element number 4097, barcode present, barcode value

<915ACB>

Slot 2, status Allocated, element number 4098, barcode present, barcode value

<977ACB>

Slot 4, status Allocated, element number 4100, barcode present, barcode value

<913ACB>

Slot 5, status Full, element number 4101, barcode present, barcode value

<012ACB>

not sure what allocated vs Full is referring to? any help would be appreciated.
