Hi,

Recently I have implemented TSM HSM client as followings:

TSM server: windows 2003 Standard
TSM server version: 5.4.1.0
TSM BA client version: 5.4.1.0
TSM HSM client version: 5.4.0.0
TSM server and HSM client reside in same machine.

1) There is a service called "IBM HSM client for windows".When I stop the service, I am still able to complete HSM archive, but the size of stub file is the same as original file. Once I start the service, the size of stub file becomes 4KB. Why I need to stop "IBM HSM client for windows" service is to disable HSM retrieval function.

2) I am going to add NAS to TSM server, which will be the location of those files to be archived by HSM. Not sure whether NAS is supported by HSM client.
