Node fast1 works file when using lan-path backup.

I copy the standard domain to domain named "fast".

Then run command:

-----------------------------------------------------

update copy fast standard standard dest=3494_pool(My tapepool)

valid pol fast standard

act pol fast standard

update node fast1 domain=fast

----------------------------------------------------

Then fast1 can't backup,the dsmerror.log reported:

-------------------------------------------------------

#cat /opt/dsmerror.log

one thing I don't understand. You posted this message at 08/07/2003 morning, but in the errorlog the time stamp indicates times in the night such as 08/07/2003:23:43,

why ?

Did you restart the storage-agent after changing the policyset? This is needed, since the storage-agent only gathers that information when it is started.

Do you have paths defined on the TSM server that translate the TSM drivename to the linux-client device-name?

@ ccai: Maybe http://www.worldtimezone.com/ ?

Thank you all

that's ok now.

I set maxndump nubmer to 4 and restart the machine.

I'm at china,so the time is half day ealier than you
