Hello
I am trying to restore Image from a Windows 2003 server to a Virtual server, the restore process does work fine.
after restore I mount the Drive as C: (it is the C drive I am restoring) and run chkdsk on it, then I run mbrfix to correct the Master Boot record, I have even try to restore backup of the mbr. with out any success.
I have installed drivers and information for SCSI drivers on the server i try to reboot, same method I have been using for years on physical servers with out problems, but I can not get this restored C Drive to boot, I get Drive not accessible or drive not exist, But I can access the drive from my WinPE cd with out ay problems!!
Is here anyone who had success with this kind of restore?
I am using TSM Client 5.3.2.2 for Windows, and the server is running TSM Server 5.3.2 on AIX. I can only restore over lan.
The OS I try to restore is Windows 2003
I try to restore from WindowsPE, based on Windows 2003 SP1 files. (Using GUI)
