SCSI Library Sharing, NON-SAN

I have a sticky situation:

A group at a remote site purchased a Dell PowerVault 122T tape library and SCSI attached it to a TSM client. They expect me to back up their site data to this library via TSM. (Backups from their site to ours were taking too long.)

Is there a way to manipulate/utilize this new tape library with my existing TSM server?

I've looked into TSM Storage Agent, but it seems to require a SAN. We don't have a SAN.

It doesn't sound likely. If backups across the WAN were taking too long, it sounds like there is not enough bandwidth between the sites. As a result, it will have to be backed up locally.

SCSI library sharing is possible, but very limited. Both servers have to be within 25 meters of each other, and the tape drives would have to be dedicated to one server or the other.

How much data needs to be backed up at this remote site? What sort of bandwidth is available?
