Hi

I'd love to upgrade to TSM 6.2 but my little old IBM 9133-55A has only got 6Gb of memory available to the TSM LPAR.

My TSM Database is 51Gb and we backup approx 6Tb a night, mainly SAP/DB2 data.

Reading the TSM 6.2 documentation it seems 6Gb of memory won't be enough. Anyone out there running TSM 6.2 with only 6Gb or similarly memory limited systems. Does it cope?

Thanks

Once I moved 4GB Windos instance from 5.5 to 6.2. It works, With many small files even better than 5.5, (db about 50GB too, 100 small-files nodes, less than 1TB a night). But... until I turned on clientside dedupliction. Than I realized hw requirements are no lie: 16GB RAM, 20GB active log.
