Rman using TSM drives instead of using policy defined for node

hello, i'm using rman to backup several database, i'm using too TDPO for ORACLE AIX and TSM to store data.



My problem is that rman using directly the drive of my library instead of using disk storage pool defined in the policy domain affected to the node with TSM.



I' ve checked the TDPO configuration with showenv option... all seems fine



Can rman run a backup using intermediaire disk storage pool with TSM?



Can someone help me please?

Hello ,



It means that your default Management Class points to tape pool.



I use in my dsm.sys a special servername for TDPO with the inclexcl parameter.

I simply use a inclexcl file like this:

include /.../* mgttdpo_tape

include /.../arch_* mgttdpo_disk

Then archive logs go to disk...
