RMAN not deleting old backups from TSM

Hello,

I am encounter the same problem. RMAN still unable to delete all the old backup set. TSM still detect Active state for the old RMAN Backup set.
Any advice on this?

HI Zack,

Please refer to putukas daily full backup script posted earlier, basically what he meant is we needed to split the script into two. Meaning create 2 script, one for database backup and one for crosscheck/expire.

You can used the postschedulecmd to run the crosscheck script once the backup completed. I had tested it is working like charm.
