Restoring to different environnement

Hi, could anybody point me to some documentation on how to restore data taken from 1 Exchange 2003 cluster to another one that does not have the same configuration/mailstore name/number etc ? I'm having difficulties finding the relevant section in the 5.5.1 TDP guide.

I'm not the exchange guy by any mean, but I still need to assist him with that.
I'd appreciate any help...

Can't restore to a different name. The Mail store instance must be brought up using the original name.

I am by no means an Exchange expert but I happened to recently ask a similar question of IBM and was given this.

My Exchange admin has not tried anything yet with it so not promises.
