Restoring DB from a file

Is it possible to do this?



TSM lets me backup to a file. However, I can't find any docs on how to restore from a file. Only from tape.

The process for restoring from a file is just like that for restoring from tape.



dsmserv restore db devclass={file_dev_class} volume={file(s)} commit=yes



As long as the devclass is defined in the devconfig file, it will work.
