We have moved our company from Domain1, to Domain2. This included a new server (and servername) and domain name.
When trying to perform a test restore using data from the old server/domain, I receive the following error:
ACN5798E MS Exchange API HRESERESTOREADDDATABASE() failed with HRESULT: 0xc7fe1f42 - Database not found.
Can I still access my data from the old server/domain? If so, what could be wrong? The recovery storage group has be created with the original name.
I usually have no issues with restoring the actual .edb file. If I check 'Run Recovery'. I'll get the message. If I restore without the check, there is no error message, but then, I cannot access the mailboxes with exmerge.
