We have a situation where we need to restore a backupset to a node different from the originating node and within the same TSM server.
We have:
Deleted the original backupset definition that was associated with the original node.
Defined the backupset tape, associating it with the node we want to restore to.
Tried restoring the backupset but the we get ANS1302, No match to the query selection.
Here is the restore backupset command used:
dsmc restore backupset X_SQL.146059727 {\\AAA\F$}\SQLDUMPS\* E:\SQLDUMPS\ -subdir=yes -replace=all -ifnewer
For this, the original node was AAA. The node we are trying to restore to is BBB.
The command is run on BBB.
A Query Backupset shows:
Node Name: BBB
Backup Set Name: X_SQL.146059727
Date/Time: 05/19/2006 07:48:01
Retention Period: 5
Device Class Name: TAPE_DVC
Description: No Description
Does anyone see what I am doing wrong?
