I know that IBM clearly states a TSM server can be the target for many source replication servers, but can itself only replicate to one target. The situation we're in is that we have 2 servers, with replication from A to B. We want to replace B with a new physical server at a new geographical location, so we need to somehow get a full copy of all nodes on A (onto C) before we flick the switch and change the replication target from B to C.
As I understand it, we can't use export node as we're running directory containers. Aside from using SET REPLSERVER every 12 hours to switch between the two, has anyone been in a similar situation and is there any workable solution for this conundrum?
