Remote real-time replication of the TSM database

I found this discussion interesting, and see many of you are using SRDF. Are you all running SRDF synchronous or asynchronous? I am in an environment where all of the TSM DB volumes are replicated cross-continent using asynchronous SRDF and I am wondering about DB consistency and recovery and any gotchas that may exist in this configuration.

We are using sychronous SRDF to replicate the TSM DB but as expected the storage pools are copied via TSM process.
