Hi
I have a problem with a StorageTek L80 and 2 HP LTO-2 drives and TSM 5.2.2
I installed the HP Device Drivers for the LTO-2 drives (and upgrade the firmware) , for Media Changer I didn't install neither the STK Device Driver or IBM Device Driver and I Installed the TSM SCSI Device, it manage only the Media Changer.
Went, I installed the STK Device Driver for the Media Changer the TSM SCSI Device don't start, so I uninstalled it (STK Device Driver).
I could define LIBRARY, DRIVES, PATHS, DEVCLASS AND STGPOOL, the drives were recognize like GENERICTAPE when I defined DEVCLASS like LTO type with format ULTRIUM2C.
but went I tried to LABEL LIBVOL ... recived the follow message:
07/09/2004 11:45:48 ANR8847E No LTO-type drives are currently available in
library LB0.0.1.4. (SESSION: 135, PROCESS: 4)
Anyone have some configuration like this? how you have defined the DRIVES and DEVCLASS?
Any advices are welcome.
