I have a rather simple question i think but i dont seem te get the hang off it i issue this command on my linux commandline wnm3tsm01:~ # dsmc update libvolume -library_name=WNM3LIB01 -volume_name=000749L2 -status=src ANS1038S Invalid option specified ANS1820E Command line options must be preceded by a '-' in tsm commandline i get it to work but not with dsmc and thats what i want / need/ please help Martijn

dsmc is for TSM client command line, it will not work here. The command you issued is for TSM server i.e. dsmadmc.
