ping required in lan free?

in a lan free enviornment. If we have to disable ping within the fire wall! Is there a work around, or does the TSM server and storage agent require ping?

Hi it does not require ping but will require bi-directional connection on port 1500 - assuming you are using 1500. This is the only port that is required.
