OUCS TSM Symposium : Presentations available

Oxford University has organised and hosted five events called TSM Symposium, all of which which have been held in St Catherine's College. The latest was in September 2007, covering a wide variety of Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) related topics and particularly thinking about Preparing the Path for new and changed functionality expected to come in TSM over the next couple of years.

Has any one else noticed that all of the IBM presentationas are password protected PDFs-- you can't copy or print 'em.

After the symposium has taken place with about 250 delegates from Sep 27th to 30th 2009, the only choice to get the information presented there is buying the USB sitck with all the presentations and material on it.

The USB-stick with all symposium presentations and materials in PDF-format is available for 50 EUR plus shipping costs (Germany 3 EUR, European Union 5 EUR).

Did not know that the guys where so miserly : at least the documents made for the previous symposiums where available for free ...
I find this insulting for TSM admins who where not able to take part to the event ...

When you consider that the TSM Symposium probably provides more important papers than from any recent one, it is quite insane that they would not make these papers available. This is a really terrible decision.

If you know TSM you will know the answers to the questions that they ask, this thread is not the right place to ask this question.

If you do not know TSM and you want to, there is plenty of documentation and presentations available to be perused.
