We're looking at possibly using the TSM Windows Client 4.2.2 to recovery NT servers, restoring the local drives and registry. A couple of questions:
1.I'm having trouble finding a doc that deals with this. The only doc I can find, Redbook sg244878.pdf, uses the older ADSM 1.1 client. Does anyone know where I can find such a doc?
2.At this point in testing, to restore an NT server I am performing a minimal Windows install, installing the TSM Windows client, restoring the local drives, restoring the System Object then restarting the server. Everyting seems to be working fine, but after the restore of System Object completes I get the error "ANS5206E An error replacing one or more registry keys". According to the Detailed Status Report, all 9 files are restored fine, no failures. I just click OK on the error, reboot and everything works. However, I'd like to resolve this error and make sure I am recovering the server correctly.
Thanks
