Having a problem with one of our NetWare clustered clients. The backup is missing. DSMERROR log shows>ANS1107E. Inavalid Option/value, unable to start scheduler. I looked this error up and have followed all instructions but still not able to start the scheduler. I can run a manual backup. This particular client has been running and completing fine and just over the past days I have been getting this error. I spoke with the Network boys and they say nothing has changed on this server.

We have tried the following and that did not resolve the problem. Does anyone else have any ideas?



The problem above occurs when the CAD is unable to retrieve the host name of the Netware system from the SYS:\ETC\HOSTS file.

It is recommended to verify and if necessary add a line as follows to the SYS:\ETC\HOSTS file:

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx NWsystem.full.dns.name
