Anybody ever seen wierd things happen with multiple NICs in a TSM server? We have TSM 5.1.1 server on a OS390 2.10 platform. Things have been running ok until very recently - we added a second OSA adapter so that we could isolate TSM traffic to it. We haven't enabled the second adapter yet, but ever since we added it, every time we IPL I can't get client schedules to kick off. No error messages on either the clients or the server, but the schedules are created and nothing seems to happen. If I shut down and restart TSM, and then shut down and restart one of the clients, things seem to break loose. After that everything seems to run ok until the next IPL.

By chance do you have the same DNS hostname associated with both NIC cards ??

I have a AIX server with multiple NIC cards, but each has a unique DNS hostname. In the devconfig.dsm file the High-Level address is the NIC we want the TSM Server to use and the low-level address is the port number. The server is defined as a unique DNS hostname.
