hi all -
working on a DR test -
have installed Legato 7.2.2 on SUSE 10 on a DL580.
have 4 StorageTek 9480 drives connected.
reading off of 9840C tapes.
restoring bootstrap and cloned volumes at offsite location to new installation & setup.
when I try to run mmrecov -
it opens the tape, reads the label, adds to inventory -
then craps out on "mmrecov: uasm stream error"
anyone seen this?
we do know that SUSE 10 is not supported...
working on reinstalling as SUSE 9 to retry -
but in the meantime, just wondering if anyone had info on uasm fixes?
could this be a block size issue? (we don't know what the original block size as we are not the original owners of this project - we are just here to 'fast' perform the DR test)
thanks in advance for any ideas...
