Migration - Diskpool reaching above 90 % even with 0 % threshold

Hi ..
wishes.. In my TSM server.. during TSM client backup sessions.. my diskpool percentage utilised is reaching above 90 %.. eventhough i have set migration threshold to 0 % and migration process=4 with enough priorities.. the diskpool is getting filled above 90 %... IS there any solution for this...

Similarly in that server .. I have the setting as below..

MoveBatchSize 1000 MoveSizeThresh 500

will setting the above parameter MoveSizeThresh = 2048 (default) be a remedy for my issue??? please advice..

Probably you use parametr - cache=yes for DISK stgpool. If it is true you can look to Pct Migr when run q stgpool instead of Pct Util. If you use cache the Pct Util usually near 100%. It indicate that cache is OK. Pct Migr indicate noncached files on storage pools that can migrate to next pools.

As i correct understood you don't have any issue with performance.
Parametrs MoveBatchSize 1000 and MoveSizeThresh 500 tune the performance when server move data between storage pools. Recommended values for those parameters are MoveBatchSize 1000 and MoveSizeThresh 2048.
