[HOWTO] Memory refresh with MGMTCLASS

Hi all

Just a quick memory refresh..

They want me to do quaterly backup and keep them for 5 years. I know that generating backupset is one of the solution. But they want it "incremental" and it's mostlly file servers. 8TB files servers. with a 15% change on 4 month!

So in my mgmt class

VEREXISTS=1825
VERDELETED=1825
RETEXTRA=1825
RETONLY=0

Just double check me... last weekend mess up my brain a bit!

That would work, but I'd consider putting a number in RetOnly for that guy that deletes something and doesn't tell you for months that he needed.

could also safetly lower the VerE and the VerD as you'd never have 1,825 versions of a file....of course, it doesn't hurt to have it there either. other option is NoLimit for VerE and VerD.
