Manual for select execution on the database

Hello to all.



I would like that you indicated me where I can find a good manual of SQL for TSM. I need to make diverse consultations (select) on the database and I would like to have detailed information of as carrying out them.

The only places where I have found the the SQL interface documented is in the following materials:



1) IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Version 5.1 -- Technical guide

look in Appendix A -- page 299 - 313



2) IBM Tivoli Storage manager Version 5.1: SQL Interface

This "Hints & Tips" paper also refers to other potenital resources, but I have not looked at them.



Both of these can be found on the IBM redbooks site at:

One other note, rumor is that if you get to fancy with the SQL interface it will crash the TSM server. It has not happend to me, however I do hear this from time to time.......
