Management Classes and HSM for Windows

Hi folks,

I am new to HSM and am wondering how to bind the objects being migrated/archive to management classes for purposes of storage device utilization and retention periods.

Can I simply modify the HSM dsm.opt with include/exclude statements as I would the baclient? I remember reading that the include/excludes work a bit differently..

Any guidance on this topic will greatly help as right now it seems to be archiving to the only archive tape pool I have on the server, which is fine, however the retention period is a question.

NM - I figured it out. The setting for Management classes called Migration Destination.
