The guys coming in over new year didn't change the tapes I now have full logs.

I am trying the command dsmfmt -m -logs h:\tsm\logs\temp_log.dsm 101 to create a temp log file to start getting it up and running again but I get the following error.

dsmfmt: unknown flag - h:\tsm\log\temp_log.dsm

it is running on win2k and the h:\ is a cluster drive which is online and accessible as are all the other drives.

that is just error in my typing I am actually using -log at the console.

Hi,

just omit the -m parameter

there is a diference between unix and windows version - windows version does not know -m/k/g flag

just type

dsmfmt -log h:\tsm\log\temp_log.dsm 101

Hope it helps

Harry
