Installation Error 1603

While installing the NT Client 5.1.5 on WinNT 4.0 Terminal Server, I get an error that says this: 1603: General Windows Installer engine error. Increase DiskSpace requirement in Setup.ini and try again.



It will not let me install. Now the setup.ini file is under the Winnt\Disk1\Setup.ini Within the file is a parameter: DiskSpace=8000 ;DiskSpace requirement in KB



You can change the parameter after you change the attributes of the file. But no matter how big I make the parameter, I still can't do an install.



Anybody have a similar experience and is there a fix for this issue.

did you change to install mode in terminate server?

and try try using msi to install directory rather than using the autorun or setup.exe
