Can any one help me on this....? I need Include/Exclude files in client options file (UNIX and Linux) for oracle databases.

It depends on how the db is installed. Talk to your unix and DB admins about this. They can give you a list of what they need
to have protected and what you should skip during the backup.

Usually, you'd want to exclude the mountpoint where your DB is located at the very least. What we have typically, is a mountpoint for our DB (/db01), /oraarch, /oraredo, /oraundo and /backup.

I would normally exclude.fs my /db01, /oraarch, /oraundo and /oraredo. I would have a TDP backup my DB, logs and control files and i would also when needed backup my exports located within /backup/oraexports
