Howto change access from sequential to random for library ibm 7332-005

hi all,



i am relatively new to tsm and want to install the tsm 5.5 to redhat 7.2.

the supported device ibm7332-005 needs to be changed from seqential access to random access in order to get the device-driver script "tsmscsi" installed on redhat.

i am searching the www for hours to get some information how to change my library.



has anyone an idea or can get me a clue on that?

Hi,

It's not in TSM.

You set it on the autoloaders frontbuttons.

I don't recall exactly what button , check your documentation.

You want the autoloader to be in random mode.
