Running on Linux (TSM: Client Version 8, Release 1, Level 15.1, Server Version 8, Release 1, Level 15.000)

Has anyone every tried and succeeded in being able to get the reported file sizes from dsmc (e.g. dsmc q backup /path/) to report only digits with no commas, periods, spaces, quotes, etc. ? It's irritating that none of the numberformat options 1-6 accomplishes this.

I checked the IBM documentation for numberformat, dateformat and timeformat, and nothing seems to do the job, and I suspect that `locale` is not going to be enough to achieve this on its own.

It's annoying that IBM doesn't offer a format to make it just 1234 instead of 1,234 or 1 234 or 1'235 or ... I digress.

Yes, sed will work, but why can't they just report the silly numbers like you would use in any other application.
