How to accomplish an Incremental Restore

We are moving from one server to another and its being backed up by TSM and files are always changing.



We can only have about 1 hour of downtime to do the restore.



What we are doing is putting a second server up, restoring to another location option. But we want to be able to do an incremental restore of just last nights changes instead of restoring the entire drives to another server.



Is this possible?



We do not do backup sets

You could do a point in time restore for today with an overwrite option set to no. It should only restore the files changed since the last restore. If you perform this restore every day, it will restore only the files that were backed up last night.
