Please can someone advise whats going on here. This server is attaced to the 3583Library using 2Gb fibre .. and im suddenly seeing the following errors :-
10/30/2003 23:16:02 ANR8939E (Session: 161, Origin: NORFS002-STOR) The
adapter for tape drive DRIVE0 (\.tape0) cannot handle
the block size needed to use the volume.
ANR8779E Unable to open drive \.tape2, error number=170.
ANR0408I Session 279 started for server NORFS002-STOR (Windows) (Tcp/Ip) for library sharing.
Also seeing this in the dsmsched.log :
10/30/2003 23:25:56 ANS1312E Server media mount not possible
10/30/2003 23:35:21 Querying server for next scheduled event.
10/30/2003 23:35:21 Node Name: NORFS002
10/30/2003 23:35:28 ANS9201W LAN-free path failed.
Anyone any ideas ? I looked it up and changed the registry MaximumSGList key in the rgistry IBM mention to 45 .. instead of 21 on the adapter via the registry but still the same problem. This server did work but now it fails every night.
