I would like to get some assistance on the best way to move my existing TSM 5.1.2 server on a NT4.0 server to a new 2003 Datacenter 32 bit server. I would also like to upgrade to the latest version of tsm. TSM server has 12 fiber lto1 drives running thru a Brocade switch. Approx 300 clients.
The questions are what is the best procedure to accomplish this?
Can I just backup the database on NT4.0 and restore to the 2003 server and then do the upgrade? Or do I have to do a EXPORT of the server and then re-import on the 2003 server?
Anything I should do prior to doing this? Thanks.
