Hello Everybody,
Last month, I upgraded my TSM Servers to version 5.3.4.0, under AIX 5.3.
My configuration =
- 3 TSM Server 5.3.4.0, AIX 5.3 64 bit
- we just install now a fourth Server TSM (5.3.4.0, AIX 5.3)
Now, we want to install the products Admin Center/ISC and the Operationnal Reporting Tool.
Because we don't know how CPU and Memory are consummed by these products, we choose this config :
- ISC/AC = 1 Virtual partition LINUX (RedHat 4) on X86, with 1Go RAM and CPU Xeon 2 Ghz
- OST = 1 Virtual partition WINDOWS (2003) on X86, with 1Go RAM and CPU Xeon 2 Ghz
We chose to separate the products on different platforms bus we do not have any idea of the impact on the performances of each product if they are running on the same machine.
My questions :
- Is this solution correct or it is preferable to install the 3 products on the same machine?
- Which sufficient disk space is it necessary to take for the logs, in particular create by OST?
If your personal experiments make it possible to light me and to help me, I will be charmed of your answers.
Regards,
Eric
