GVM2019E SP for VE 8.1.6.1

I installed and configured VE 8.1.6 on proxy server and ran configuration wizard. All was well. I applied 8.1.6.1 patch and now this error below is showing when I log into VE GUI.

GVM2019E An error occurred while processing user permissions. Contact your System Administrator.

Any ideas??

It looks like the issue was an incomplete install. I'm thinking it might be an issue with 8.1.6.1 package.

Open Cmd prompt and change directory to
C:\IBM\SpectrumProtect\webserver\usr\servers\veProfile\tsmVmGUI

Make sure that the file "TSMRequiredPermissionsList.xml" exists in this directory and if it is not please lookup this file in the Installation Package extract directory and copy to the above location and retry to open the UI.

It was missing… I copied it in and … problem solved.
