I get a strange error when TSM starts up. It only occurs once and it doesn't appear to harm the system, but I don't like it. There was a time when I received many of these errors and it was harming the system. It was because the medium changer driver was missing and other drivers were out of date. Once I corrected this by updating all drivers (tape drives, HBA cards, medium changer, etc.) it was okay again, except for this one error message:

ANR9999D nadiscvr.c(2317): ThreadId<20> Getting FC target mapping failed, rc=1 Callchain of previous message: 77E649D3 RaiseException()+48 <- 1000F969 tsmInitializeServer()+8139 <- 104E49B9 outTextf()+1469 <- 102BA2F2 tsmInitializeServer()+2B2AC2 <-

It comes immediately after the message saying that TSM is "ready for use".

We have two fibre-attached 3580 tape drives in a 3583 tape library. Even the microcode on the library is up-to-date. There are no other drivers/firmware to update -- everything is current. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
