Hi,
We want to direct a TDP for SQL restore from server 'A' to server 'B'. Running the TDP for SQL on server 'B' we have tried to set the 'From SQL Server' option to the server we want to restore from (in the same way as we know works using 'As Node Name' in the BA client). Unfortunatly we don't seem to have any luck, the restore tab still just displays the local SQL databases. We can achive the desired effect by editng the nodename in the opt file but we would like to try and get it working through the GUI.
We've also found if we change the 'SQL Server' option then select backup we get an ACO5428E (SQL server not local) but it still shows the local SQL environment on the restore tab.
Any thoughts?
